 My precious son was the inspiration for this piece.  Every chance I get to spend with him is such a blessing.  We always love to play in the backyard and toss his red ball around.  Each element of this piece represents that exact moment.  The red ball, crisp sky, green grass, and the gray dusk coming to spoil all our fun.

About the Artist ...

James Brian Shillingburg, a 27 year old Texas artist, creates works from his imagination, heart, and soul.  Through his works, he aspires to convey the harmony and movement found within nature.  Inspired by the love of his family, Brian truly pours all of his confidence and passion into each one of his works.  His dream is to be able the capture the essence of God's creation into bold and creative works of abstract art.  He resides with his wife (Amy) and son (Benjamin, 21 months of age) in College Station, Texas.
